Coverage and field availability vary by state because each state registry publishes different information. This table documents known limitations for each state. Coverage has two dimensions:
  1. Entity coverage: whether GovFiles includes all entities available from the registry.
  2. Field coverage: whether GovFiles collects all available values for the fields published by the registry.
Complete coverage means we have broad coverage of the registry’s entities and no known major gaps in the fields it publishes. Not currently collected means a field is available from the state registry, but GovFiles does not collect it. Partial means GovFiles collects a field, but does not yet have it for all records where the registry provides it. We are continually working to improve entity and field coverage across our database.
